We know Menorca very well. We went there a lot when the kids we're little. Cala n porter used to be our preffered base but we've stayed all over the island. Very friendly place. We saw a 4 tops tribute band there once, there were 3 of them and one of the 3 was white , :D very good otherwise.

A bit more than that John, we're going in a villa in Menorca for a weeks relax. Main holiday in september is now back on too. 3 months of worry does steange things to your mind. We need a break to re calibrate our life. Sounds dramatic but the ups and downs of ct scans, biopsies and uncertain...

Ecstatic Trevor. Our whole vision of the future turned on a sixpence, in a 10 minute meeting. It ends 3 months of worry. So beer/wine, finally get a good nights sleep and book a quick holiday. We feel very lucky.

My wife had suspected lung cancer. 2 biopsies showed nothing. However still a 96% chance of cancer. The super biopsy from the Royal Brompton is NEGATIVE, no cancer detected. It's inflammation. Probably from earlier radiation treatment. They're going to scan it every 3 months to monitor it until...

I think people use the word 'work' because it sounds more arty.

I think capturing the example image in the first post, in camera, was quite a challenge. I think it's the challenges tham some togs enjoy. Just as others enjoy making composites. Are composite images still photography though?

How much DR do you want? If we go to the extreme, we have no shadows or highlights. When the eyes focus on shadows or highlights, they try to adjust so we can see more, but is that the actual 'image' that's in front of us? Isn't the interest in wondering what's hidden in the shadows of a cave...
