    Anyone going to LM24?

My fourth trip there this year but not been since 2013. Any up to date photo location tips most welcome.

Lightroom Classic vs CC sync question

Thanks both. Think that's been enough for me to clear some space but I think now might be the time to stop importing via CC and treat it as a viewer only. Just seem to have constant issues with doing so. Appreciate the help.

Lightroom Classic vs CC sync question

I have to admit I don't find Adobe's cloud implementation the most user friendly experience in the world. I have lightroom classic on a mac and that is where storage of raw + catalogue file etc is. I have a PC laptop running Lightroom CC (or is it just called lightroom now?) and for various...

I picked up a Viltrox 13mm 1.4 recently but hadn't really used it in anger. Aurora on friday night seemed like a great opportunity. Aurora at Hedleyhope Fell by G.A.D, on Flickr Have to say I'm bloody impressed with these Viltrox primes. I bought the 27mm a few months ago and that lens is...

Cheers Mr P. I hadn't really considered the cropability. That is a good point. On the HR mode, I've used it on Olympus cameras so I'm aware of the more general limitation but how is the implementation on Fuji? Raw straight out of camera? Easy to engage hi-res mode in the field or is it...

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

I admit this is a question entirely born of GAS and nothing to do with necessity.... I'm toying with the idea of upgrading my X-T4 to an X-T5. Generally speaking with most gadgets and cameras especially, I'm happy to skip a generation or two rather than always having the latest and greatest...

That's exactly what I love about them. I don't have one at present but a few have come and gone over the years. Really the only reason I don't have one now is that my X100F is my small grab' camera and so there is no particular need for me to have a pancake lens for my X-T4. The 18mm has...

I think the cost of the rest of the trip is what's stopping me!

Thanks Kerry. Starting to sound like the 100-400 might be my best option. I do like that it will give me something substantially different to the 50-140.

I'll be in my Exige so boot space not abundant for me either but it does at least have one! 100-400 does seem like a strong option. I've been looking at motorsport samples and people seem to get great results from it. It's not a lens I'm desperately keen on generally as I find them a bit...

Hi all. I've been a bit quiet on here lately. I hope you've all managed to struggle on by in my absence :) Long, waffly post incoming.... I'm going to the Le Mans 24 hour race in June. I've been a few times before but not since 2013 and my kit and photography aspirations have moved on a...

    Waterproof Action/compact camera

Cheers all. Some good options there. The Olympus Tough ones are definitely on the options list and I'll add the Nikon ones too. On the GoPro front, I'm finding it really hard to pick through the historic model line up but are there none that are waterproof without a case that can be grabbed...

    Waterproof Action/compact camera

I posted this on Pistonheads but it seems very quiet on the photography section there these days so handing this over to the TP experts. I currently have an old (2010 ish maybe) waterproof Pentax compact camera. It's totally out of date now in terms of image quality and video etc but has been...

Cheers. I think the trouble for me is that birds/wildlife is only ever likely to be a small part of my photography. So even though a large dedicated lens for those trips would be okay, I probably need something that does more than just that otherwise it will likely gather dust.
