You're right, processing was roughly the same but they were taken at different times through the morning. The first two were taken later in the morning (06.29 and 07.19 respectively) when the sun was just breaking though giving them a warmer feel. The third and fourth were taken earlier, before...

This year was a bumper year for wild garlic, it must have been all that rain! It took three attempts but back in May I finally caught a foggy morning in these wild garlic woods in deepest Essex.
Agreed, having seen one of the best auroras of my life right here I'll still be going back to Iceland this winter for the incredible landscapes, the aurora is just the icing/cherry on top etc
Absolutely, what we saw on Friday here was mind blowing, I guess what I was trying to say is there should be plenty more to come but activity continues throughout the cycle (even if you have to travel north to see it)
