View Full Version : Updated to vBulletin 3.6.0
We've finally updated to vBulletin 3.6 earlier this, er, morning...lol
We did want to do it earlier in the month, but the forums have been so busy, that we didn't get chance...(we refused to do it when we were busy as it would mean kicking people off :nono: )
Anyway, there were only a few on before so I managed to do it while they weren't looking.
Everything is updated nicely (or so it seems), if you spot ANY problems, please use the Contact US (http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/sendmessage.php) feature, or send us an email admin@talkphotography.co.uk, or grab me on MSN marcelbooth@hotmail.com
I'll go through and point out some snazzy new features for you soon....
well done Marcel, only a couple of error emails through to the mailing system this morning, so well done that man! oh and get soem sleep!
Yeah those error emails were actually me missing a file ;)
I thought someone had been messing about :p
If you go to the home page and click on the icon taking you to the last post in a thread it comes up with "no thread specified"
So, whats new?
Multiquote for one :D

Which homepage? You mean the forum listing, or the actual home home (vbadvanced)
Also, which icon? It all seems to be working for me? Unless I've missed something. Do you mean the right pointing triangle next to the last posters name?
on the home page, recent threads, the arrow beside the last poster.
Using FF latest version
Happened at home as well this morning, at work now.
Screenies to show exactly. If I click the arrow on the right of "dod" in this thread, or any other for that matter

Hmm that is a puzzler.
I think I've found where the code is pulled from, so will attempt to change it to get it working :D
we wanted to make sure all the bugs were ironed out before upgrading, looks like you found one!
new mod features are card warning systems, so the admin team can give you warnings by clicking a button, seeing as you is all nawty kidz that need constant supervision
looks like it's fixed though
lol I don't think our current staff have ever had need (or want) to warn anyone...lol
You're all too nice :D
BTW problem fixed...I think

Embarassed smiley? Not a problem, I'll go hunt one down later...
Just got in from Twycross after dropping DRZ and Jonny off, and having only been in about 20 minutes, I've done some DIY (Put some curtain rails back up :suspect: ), got rid of a mahoosive spider from the bathroom (they saved it all day for dad to get home and sort out :D), and I havent even sat down yet...lol
Must be those 6 pro plus I knocked back on the way home :D
