Righto, I've got the stopwatch running....! My mouse finger is hovering over the submit button on an eBay listing and I just want to check a detail with the font of all knowledge (you lot) :D

I'm listing a Minolta 7000AF (lovely camera, shame they're almost worthless these days). It has a Sigma 28 - 70mm AF zoom lens and I just want to mention in the listing whether it's compatible with modern Konica Minolta DSLR cameras (someone might buy it for the lens!).

So... is it?

Just checked Wiki - it appears to be the same mount as newer KMs and the Sony Alpha range.

Hmm, that's interesting. I wonder if I'd do better listing camera body and lens separately. Mind you I don't have a rear cap for the lens, which would be a bit awkward.

If you havn't already listed, thn do the lens seperately. For some reason, the alpha users look for lenses, not the whole system. I have seen some AF cameras go for £45. but with the best part of £200 in lenses, where they sold seperately.

Thanks, I think I will do that. In fact I may wait a while. I have a feeling the second hand gear market will pick up next year as the prices of new gear rises.
