Anyway, Out of the two pics I like the second one the best even though it could be a tad more sharp. They look more natural and comfortable with each other in that pic. As for the background, was that intientional in photoshop or is it just blownout? I"m undecided if that works or not tbh. Normally I like the whole high key idea but find this a wee bit distracting for some reason. Overall it's a nice shot of your brother in law and girlfriend, thanks for sharing.

The convertion is pretty bad to be frank, with out meaning to be rude. Just flat and lifeless.

Compositionally speaking, it's a straight on head and shoulder shot. Not a lot to get wrong, but that can run the risk of not a having lot to keep interest. So the shot has to be spot on
