....my 5D Mk II arrived today from Hong Kong :woot:

Dispatched midday Saturday (HK time) and arrived at mine today at about 3!

Currently charging the second battery for the BG-E6 grip and have to say it's awesome so far, though I haven't taken any shots so far.

The LCD is soooo much crisper, the menu has been redesigned and it even gives you the battery status of each battery in the grip, in terms of % of charge remaining, amongst other things like lens calibration etc.

Soooo looking forward to tomorrow :D

Nice buy, hope that canon release a firmware update fix for it soon.

Price was £2,264.97, for the body, BG-E6 battery grip plus one additional genuine Canon LP-E6 battery. Free shipping via DHL.

It does have a UK warranty, but only via agents of Digital Rev. Their customer service has been absolutely excellent, one of the smoothest transactions I've had the pleasure of doing. Extremely efficient, so I have no worries in case of warranty repair :)

Grrrr...you cynical lot :p:):lol: Will get my mobile phone geared up to take a shot of it, with grip and 70-200 f2.8L IS as I don't think the grips are available in the UK at present.

I'm not sure whether the grip is made from polycarbonate as it felt like mag alloy, very cold to the touch :shrug::suspect:

Shall I take a sledgehammer to it and find out? :nuts:

£508.89 for a battery grip and a battery ? REMOVED the bed !

5D Mk II ... £1756.08 Body only, 4 in stock, in the UK with free delivery. I'm tempted but as I've no work booked in for a bit, I'll wait.
