All taken with Canon 30D and Bigma Hand held. It was a pain to shoot as there were on the ground and trying not to get stands and water bowls Let alone people in the shots was difficult.
Shot in Raw Converted in RSP with a little levels and saturation only and resized for web

Some good captures, lovely sharp shots, especially the first one, and combined with nice background blurring.

Looks like that Bigma is never off your camera, who would have thought such a large lens could be soo flexible.

Thanks for all the replys. And yes the Bigma can be flexible if you can handle the weight.

Great shots. First one's the best for me.

Shots like this make me question if the 300mm prime is where I want to be in a month's time.

Really tight-in shots, fantastic sharpness, awesome bokeh, really pleasing contrast and all of that at the extremety of the lens - 500mm and wide open!

Fantastic captures but damn you!

EDIT:

Exif says F/5.6 but the Bigma (50-500mm?) is showing as F/6.3 at the long end - what gives?!

OOOh love the owl shots .. one of my favourite birds but, the clarity & bokeh on the common Buzzard shots is awesome.

those first three are the best for me, the eyes are perfectly focussed
