The two women in the house decided that it might be a good idea to buy a foal of good breeding and "bring it on" as always I was out voted 2-1 :(

2 beautiful looking foals.....like No.1 best
These photos are no good without the breeding!!
Bay looks like its going to be very nice, the darker one is hiding his(?) attributes. I totally agree with the women in the house though, just wait until they decide to go on holiday to Holland or Germany........
just get the insurance sorted quick Chris :) Our new lad decided he wanted to go through a gate a week after coming home. :bang:

Both are mares Susie I have been told the "breeding" and that they extremely well
bred, but my knowledge of horses starts and ends with "one end eats the other craps" :D

:shake: men!!! you forgot the fact that the bit in the middle is not safe to sit on
At least being mares they are worth more later on and you could even breed a couple of foals so that you have some more following on behind them :rules:
:suspect: You know it IS finally dawning on me that I have to encourage Mr Yv into a more expensive 'hobby' than photography, that way, I can post pics of HIS hobby and look sad about the cost :'(
:D lovely animals Chris, good luck to the ladies in the house bringing them on

Positively dangerous, especially for blokes :gag:

But I'm sure they would totally agree with my ideas, lets hope the appie spots out later, will make for some interesting pics!
Snowford Bellman throws some very nice stock. Slievenamon (his sire) is well regarded so is Skippy (his dam sire), so it would be a shame not to get some sweet ickle babies :D :D

Yes, and one of the few indoor schools with decent light! I have not seen the new surface used for jumping but it looks like it handles it well :)

I was at Keysoe (College EC) last month and it was the complete opposite. Like trying to take photos in a coalmine! :bang:

Indeed, but whenever I've been there it's always been used as the warm up area. Must get over there more often this year, would love to shoot some Dressage (For gawds sake I hope Sue doesn't read this, my official stance is paint drying/grass growing!)

But the horses look stunning!
I always say that one disadvantage of photographing an event is that you do not get to actually watch any of it. In the case of Dressage, this can actually be an advantage! :D

Guessing you're a Dressage fan then!
 Used to be jumping but old age and senility have set in so I rarely leave the ground (and only if the fence is less than 3' now), so its dressage only for me when the blasted animal has 4 legs that work properly!

Oh, don't get me wrong. Dressage is great if you are doing it, it's the watching that is so deathly dull! ;)
I quite like watching dressage :( :coat:

Chris they're lovely the horses. Of course as you've allowed the girls of the house to have them it's only fair you treat yourself to say a new camera lens! Probably the best time to do it now!
