All technically flawed shots I know but hey I was in the back of a BMW M3 doing 120 on the motorway (in Belgium I might add) on the way back from a trackday at Spa Francorchamps and the Nurburgring

Went through all manner of weather but I managed to snag these

Sundog (also known as a Parhelion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_dog) ):

Exif's are intact if you're bothered about that sort of thing ;)

All have had a rezise and watermark batch added in photoshop but are otherwise straight from camera

Well caught mate, I like them all one way or another but I particularly like the last shot, I feel the pylons add scale to the shot and that makes the huge clouds somehow more stunning.

As I say, well caught, because I tend to make the mistake of looking for a subject to make use of nice clouds when I see them...of course I don't usually find any and buy the time I've fapped about looking... I’ve missed the shot. :bang:

Love that last shot - I'd have struggled to have taken that standing still, let alone from a moving vehicle

I like your photos but emotionally I never got past this bit..

a trackday at Spa Francorchamps

My favourite place in the whole world. Normally make an yearly pilgrimage but not so this year. :'( Just the greatest track.

Sorry, back to the topic now folks. :exit:

Can someone please point out the sundog....I gather it is a spot of light that appears at 22° either side of the sun, made from ice crystals.
