We were sailing by a small boat along the breathtaking Montenegro's coast.
It was the most beutiful time which I spent anywhere...
Enjoy please, dear boys and girls (I've used it correct?)

One of the most eye catching shots I've seen on here in a while. Lovely shape to the coastline and just the right degree of DOF for my taste. Composition is spot on with the gulls filling the empty corner of sky without intruding on the coastline at all, they almost seem shaped to fit! Main bird is just sharp enough to make it work a treat. What settings did you use (EXIF is stripped out)?

Not too keen on the border, kind of detracts from the image to my eyes... small point though, lovely shot!

Shame the top bird is so close the frame IMO. Apart from that, I like it

:agree: but knowing elektro's skill with PS, I bet he can move the bird away from the frame. Great image.

I'm so lazy for searching an original among numerous CDs, but I remember I changed this picture with smart bluring.

neither of the two were right, but I wouldn't tell why;)

Thanks mates and Happy New Year!

Cracking shot elektro, it has to be said. Depth of field is spot on imho and love the way the main seagull is looking straight at you:clap:

Eleckro, you are a genius. What a gorgeous looking picture, just love the way you've caught the seagulls in mid-air. I could almost hear them squarking away . . . oh, hang on, I live right next to the beach, so that might explain it!
The monochrome colour actually added to the overall feel rather than detract it.
My only minor quibble is the very top seagull being slightly clipped off, but still a marvellous shot overall and on account of that, I've made this picture as today's "My TP Picture Of The Day".
I've got plenty of willing subjects down my end if I ever want to try something like that for myself.
Keep it up, you're doing very well!
