I am in major need of a new tripod. My old one was some cheap argos one for £7 which died a horrible death!
I need something that is light weight but good and legs that can move etc. Must also have heads or something so i can screw it into my D200
Something for around £100 or less

Lots of threads on this lately. Redsnapper + ball head for me
velbon manfrotto but by far the most popular at the moment is the 69 quid one on redsnapper.

there are some good deals on at the moment from manfrotto.basically, the with the better tripods, you buy the legs, and then buy the head which best suits your needs/type of photography.
i can highly recommend the manfrotto 190XPROB and 804RC2 head..covers all my needs, and the centre column can be removed/swung around through 90 degrees which is great if you need to get close to the ground.
costs around £130 for legs and head if you shop around...these ones
