How come I don't see my signature? Do you see my signature?

When I preview a post, I see it. But when it's submitted, I don't see it.

we have a limited search engine optimisation whatname running that limits signatures to certain criteria, so sometimes its there, sometimes it isnt..

I haven't seen my signature for some time and a large number of other peeps are missing.

Bloody annoying as I've just spent ages trying to convert Kersos' price list to pdf format in mine :bang:

Edit: could see it when I posted this!

As matty says, we have some software installed that only shows peoples signatures sometimes.

Basically the criteria is that it shows the signature if the post has more than 30 characters, and only then does it show the signature once per page.

Basically it was installed to stop the place being overrun by signatures, while giving you guys a fair chance to actually show your signatures.

We want to find the fine balance between everything turned off and a uniform, if sterile looking forum........and the all out, everything turned on flashy bangy tacky looking forum.

If people think sigs aren't displayed enough, or too much, then give us a shout (http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/sendmessage.php) and we'll see if we can work things out.

Aha that explains it - I wondered why that was happening - now let me just knock up a post of more than 30 characters to test the theory...that should be enough......

There it is - now to test part two of the theory - a second 30 character plus post to see my signature disappear.......that should do it.....

So a 30 character message such as this one should make my signature appear. blh ablalajasldjsadjasasdsadsadasdasdsad

Unless matty or df have been into the guts with their spanners, then it should still be 30.
