Just spent the afternoon splitting logs to keep the log fire going during this cold snap.
I have two dogs Susie, both boys and Toby has bagged the fire tonight, Willis had to settle for Mrs G's lap.


Edit, just looked back and they are both on her lap now and that rarely happens:D

What a lovely homely shot, my chaz has been constantly in front of my fire these past weeks, gas fire that is, what i wouldn't give to have a proper wood burner :)

If I Could fit 3 boxes in the back of my car I would have a tricolour today.

I guess the tricolour is the eldest, and the blenheims are youngsters? and the 4th ?.

They are nice dogs, Why 4, do you breed them, or like me simply love them as a breed.

Love the warm, cozy photo - cute dog snoozing in front of log fire. Toby looks like he's in dog-heaven. :love:

We're enjoying our first winter with a log burner - it's soooooooooooo fantatastic. Especially with roasted chestnuts - mmmmm.
The dogs like it too. :D
