Very nice shot of the Cheetah - didnt realize there were any in captivity to be honest, and of course the customary Tiger pic ;)
Cor, look at those cheetah's!
My name means "Cheetah" - so I've always rather liked them :D
The other two are lovely as well - but the first is the best for me :)
thanks guys :)
There are quite a few cheetahs in the UK, Marwell has some too !

There were some cheetahs in captivity in a zoo in Tunisia when we went there - that was quite an interesting place, the big cats section was below big walkways that the general public walked along - impossible to get an eye level shot though :(

Loverly shots Ian. That cheetahs giving it the right back at you look. :D
Love the cheetah shot too .. He's almost saying '...Enough allright, you're the third camera today...' or '...'hurry up, I can only hold my chin up like this for so long...' :) Eitehr way - I love them.
thanks guys ! :) is the best enclosure i have seen for cheetahs, had long grass etc just like they would have in the wild ! made it easy to get resonable pics :)
Why have you not used your flash Ian?
It would help bring out the eyes in the subjects and give you a punchier (:boxer:) finish.

Because they were surrounded in shiney silver chicken wire type stuff and the flash would have just caused reflections off it mate !
Ahh, I knew there would be a reason. ;)
I thought it was taken through glass, you've done a good job disguising the wire.
If you have an off camera flash cord, you could hold the flash closer to the fencing.
This would help eliminate the camera picking light up from the wire.
