Taken at Hamerton Wildlife Park today, cant say i have ever seen a Meerkat in a bush before !

I've only ever seen meerkats stood up or running around on the ground, never seen them in a bush.

Apparently I've just been told by the parents in law that this meerkat is the "guard". He sits in the highest point possible - usually in a bush or a tree as a lookout and he alerts the rest of them when danger is on the way. Apparently it was on Meerkat Manor.
