View Full Version : canon 28mm f1.8 or 35mm f2.0
i'm considering either the 28f1.8 or 35f2, however i can't seem to find a comparison of both lenses. anyone kind enough to redirect me to one?

Has reviews of both, I've got the 28mm 2.8 and while i wish it was a little faster the angle of view is much more usefull when you've got a house full of people and you want to take some snaps. I narrowed my selection down to the 28mm f2.8 or the 35mm f2 on the basis of cost and then just got the first one that was offered to me second hand at a sensible price!

The Digital Picture (http://www.the-digital-picture.com/) also has reviews of both. Here (http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/ISO-12233-Sample-Crops.aspx?FLI=0&API=0&Lens=253&FLIComp=0&APIComp=0&LensComp=122&CameraComp=453&SampleComp=0&Camera=453&Go.x=5&Go.y=11&Go=Go) is a side-by-side sharpness comparison from that site.
These are also 2 lenses that interest me for indoor parties etc. The 28mm looks good for small spaces.
Choccy...

The 28mm is a really solid piece of kit whereas the 35mm is on a par with the nifty fifty.I have had both and kept the 35mm.Much sharper---a real gem for the money.
