I need a tripod for a Canon 400D with a battery grip, flash and a 70-300mm lens.

I'm using it for weddings, so I need a sturdy tripod which has a bit of weight.

Any recommendations please?

Gary.

Seriously though.... I'm thinking about a new one too. My dad gave me his old one to use but it's Uber heavy and difficult to attach the camera too.

Doesn't someone on here sell them? Edit: Redsnapper (http://www.aldine.co.uk/redsnapper/contents.html)

I don't have one myself, but Redsnapper do get quite a few good mentions and feedback (go to Shoppers, bargains etc).

They seems to be pretty sturdy and offer a big bang for your buck...

If you're interested in them, contact Joe through PM here or through his website and mention you're a TP member, qualifies you for a 10% discount apparently

Slight bit more expensive but the manfroto 190xprob or 055xprob, are also good value for money and nice and sturdy while not being overly heavy.
