Photography " trade shows" ???

Not sure if Photography trade shows is the correct term, but I'm looking to upgrade some of my older kit and was wondering where and then there are any decent Photography shows on?

I am assuming the NEC at Birmingham will host something along these lines???

Buying over the Net is fine, but sometimes its nice to be able to assess the quality of an item ect where buying...

The only I've been to is the London Camera Exchange one in Southampton, usually in October/November (I think): http://www.lcegroup.co.uk/index_location.php?branch_id=42
You get to try all the Canon/Sigma stuff etc plus loads more.
