I'll make a comment! I like the 2nd one it is very calming and the composition is good. The first one just doesn't do anything for me (but hey it's a subjective art).

The 1st one has nothing in it really, although my eye is drawn along the shore line. It was probably better to see in reality than a photo. The second turned out better than I thought, the pyramid like things are the breakwater blocks.

I like the first for the light on the water but the sun is too much, try a crop along the horizon.

second one is great, lovely colours.
