Anyone ever used a Duracell DRNEL3 as a replacement, they say its compatible but has slightly higher mah

Seems a pretty reasonable price

The Mah is capacity not not voltage, it "should" last slightly longer if it's a higher number. Wayne

No experience of the battery you mention but I have used the ones 7dayshop sell in my D50 D80 & D200 & they lasted as long if not longer than the Nikon 'must be made of gold' expensive ones ... Paul

Third party batteries definately make sense, I've got a couple of super cheap photonix ones from ebay and they last lots longer than my canon origional and I got both for less than half the price of a single canon one.

It's difficult to justify the extra price of the Canon/Nikon own brand, I have had third party batteries and they have lasted for years at a fraction of the price. Wayne

The last one I got was the Duracell, and it fine. I think it is def lasting longer than my Jessops. I got it because of the higher capacity

So it says this is the E version but doesnot state the D300 as a model you can use?
