Got a bit bored last summer & did this bike/camera mod. I've been using it this summer & it has worked well.

Don't think I've posted the piccies, so here it is in all its glory :)

Very cool!

Not seen your bike before. Looks good. Also, just been watching the World Supernikes (on TV) at Silverstone.

It's the only thing that keeps my level of sanity reasonably ok ;)

It's a VP2160 Vosonic Drive , 40Gb HD with loads of card slots. It cost me £84 from www.digitaldepot.co.uk last year

Very nice bag - what holds it on...magnets  , or is it some kind of baglux harness.

Also has the added benefit of keeping the front end down on the R6 eh :D

That is well smart, both myself and my make could do with something like that instead of struggling with standard Oxford tank bags.

P.S. Wht year is the R6? it looks identical to mine and mine is a 2000 model.

It's magnetic , never managed to shake it yet ;)

1999 , so I believe its the same   . The bag is a standard Givi tank bag with a hand cut 3-layer foam inset to hold the gear.

Great bike and great tankbag, I know my dad has been looking for one for his bike (Triumph Daytona 955 iirc) and that looks ideal, he only has my old 300d, kit lens and 75-300.

So that case would be more than big enough for his setup, any chance of a model number or something, ive tried looking for Givi tank bags and non look like that one. I need something to get the old fart for Christmas to go with the Mini Studio XL im getting him.

Think ive just found it Givi T422 (http://www.bykebitz.co.uk/acatalog/Givi_Soft_Luggage.html) £42 is that the right thing?

Looks like it and it's the sort of price I paid (six years ago :))

All you need now is some gaffa tape , copydex and a few sheets of foam

They'd say, where not paying for that lot mate it'll cost more than the bike.

I wouldn't worry about it MrG, its just stuff in a tank bag, all perfectly legal....give it enough time though ;)

Love the bag btw, great idea, now if i can just find a tank pag with suckers or something other than magnets, because my tank is just a fake plastic cover. :(

I'm tempted , all depends on the weather (not for the bike , for the camera ;))
