Shot these for local media yesterday. In fact nailed something like 2000 images. Snore. Not a great days work really but the ambient stuff is nice. Thanks for looking.

For God's sake, can't you ever come up with a lousy set of shots? :)

That said, this guy had me worried. His colour was awful and I actually lowered my camera when I saw him at 400mm. I was agog (word of the day) and he went on to collapse  Hope he is ok!!

I would like the first gentleman to go please! Just don't tell my husband.

Like you I hope the last gentleman is ok, you read way to often of people thinking they are ready and then they just keel over. Not good!

Great set of photos as usual. Although I really like the shot with Wallace in the back.

Diego, once again you impress us with such a fantastic set of images.
I'm not sure what else I can say. You impressed me with that race collection last week, and you've raised the bar yet again with this set.

Truly an inspiration mate, if not for anyone else, definately an inspiration for me

What lens were you using for these? I know you're a proud owner of the 24-70L, I got to have a little tinker with it yesterday, what else did you use for this half marathon.?

Helen...you'll be getting a little comment under you're name

wonderful set of shots Pete...but those women, so sinuwey.....and they're fit?

Love the shot of the red head looking at you, the angle is great and his smile says it all!

Thanks all.

For reference I shot with the 5D and the 24 - 70L for close up etc and the distance stuff with the 100 - 400L + 30D combo.

It was a funny shoot in that the weather was warm but the light was tricky to work with. Sun was in and out all morning.

With the 100 - 400 I nearly always shot @ 400 ISO when extended to 400mm but was going up and down to 800 ISO on some when the light was changing. As I said in my bit on the 'what are you trying to achieve' thread, its all about light and you can see how 'good light' can add to an image the examples being 2 and 3 over 1, which is nice but lacks the snap of the next two.

Thanks again.

Diego.

 It does look like him doesnt it! But then again, it can't be him, he died in episode 1 of series 5 :D

You could have added a warning before that bum shot though :p I scrolled down and was instantly assaulted in the eyes by a pair of buttocks! :D

A stunning set of photographs! I'll be at the Nike London 10k run on 8th Oct - minus camera though as (like a fool) I'm running in it!

I'll take the next chance I get to attend one of these events with my camera kit rather than my running kit. If I can get anything half as good as your set Diego I'll be chuffed!

Some really great captures as usual, really caught the atmosphere of the whole event - tragic to think you got a pic of a man in a thong though ;)

Some cracking shots there Diego (but then what's new eh? ;) )

The man in the thong is not a nice sight at all and is just pure evidence that men don't look good in thongs - ever! :puke: but the last guy in the black vest is quite fit :naughty:

It isn't a push up bra it is a sports bra! You (ok not you) wear it to keep ya from getting black eyes!
