Grabbed the camera as I took the dog out tonight.

Janice - I can see why you took the dog with you - That's a rough area you live in
Beautiful sunset - expertly captured

Good job the dog didn't pull you over - nothing worse than a wonky horizon when you're out walking.... nice colours...
Are you implying my horizon is wonky, sir? ;)
(You probably didnt really mean the horizon was wonky, Barry, but I just had to bring this point up for debate!)
The field actually goes slightly downhill from left to right, I KNEW as I took it that people would mention it!
That has been a bone of contention with me for ages....not every edge of field, edge of lake etc will be straight across a photo, it depends on the lie of the land, and the angle the photo was taken at.
I have taken shots across a lake and because the far bank wasnt parallel to me but went further away from me towards the left of the picture, people said it was wonky. Has anyone else found this?

Didn't imply anyfink.... just thinking about what the dog could do whilst you're taking piccies!
I go by verticals - trees, buildings and poles (most eastern europeans don't count in this instance - joke everybody!) if they're vertical then the horizontals find their own angles of dangles......
oh well my tree-trunks are vertical so Im ok!
a vertical pole and a horizontal swede!!!!
Very nice Janice.......... even with the wonky horizon ;)
Mike
Shut it........BOYO!!!!  :D :D
