I want to buy a waterproof point and shoot camera I'll use for snorkelling...

I'm debating between Oly MJU 1030SW or the new 1050SW vs. Pentax Optio W60.

Please help me which one to get.

I got an Mju 850SW and it's a brilliant little camera. Haven't had much opportunity to take it anywhere with nice sunlight and clear water, but have so far had some interesting shots from the inside of pints of lager, and buckets of seawater with crabs in.

It's been dropped more than a few times as well - possibly as a result of emptying the aforementioned pint glasses..

I'll see if I can dig out some shots.....

The wife has a 1030SW and it's a great little camera. We tend to chuck it in a rucksac when out biking, or take it up mountains when the weather is too dire for a grown-up camera. It has survived dunking, dropping, soaking and freezing totally unscathed. Image quality is pretty good too.

Another recommendation for the 1030SW here. My kids throw it to each other whilst they're in the sea.

Thank s to all who replied, I am leaning towards the Pentax Optio W60.. I'll buy in 2 weeks time so have enough time to think.

Any other suggestion?

Update 30 Jan:
Just ordered the Pentax Optio W60 (http://www.warehouseexpress.com/product/default.aspx?sku=1029055) today and hopefully will be here Monday.

Update 04 Feb:
The Pentax Optio W60 is on its way to Warehouseexpress. Long story short, its c-r-a-p.
I'm now looking at the new Olympus Tough 6000/8000.
