hi guys, i have a jessops 400AFM flash, its old and pants but i want to use it remotely as it has power settings and looks quite powerful.

only problem is its sony fitment by the looks of it.

now i can find adapters for sony to take normal flashes but i cant find one the other way round, sony to canon/nikon hot shoe. so it will fit my pt-04's

anyone got any ideas ?

I don't know exactly waht a Sony adapter looks ike, but I've a couple of old Nikon and Olympus flash units that work fine as remote units with a normal hotshoe flash.

You are after all just trying to trigger the flash not have it communicate with the camera.

Why not nip down to you local camera shop with the flash and see if they will let you try it with a conventional adapter before you buy it.
