I’m looking for a shoulder/messenger bag which will be smart enough to use for work, hold my work laptop (15” screen) and also take my D70s with Nikkor 20mm f:2.8 preferably attached, if not then off the body.
I’ve got a Lowe Pro Stealth Reporter 650 and that is far too big for what I need and I’d rather a shoulder bag than a rucksack/slingshot type bag as it looks more professional goignt o meetings. I’ve found the Lowe Pro Classified 250 AW but it’s about £150, probably a bit big for what I need, and rare as hens’ teeth. Has anyone an idea of a bag which would meet my requirements, hopefully for a less than £50?
These might be worth a look. They do them in different colour styles and they seem to have a very good reputation, certainly I've come across a lot of positive comments regarding quality and looks.

Thanks, that looks pretty good (if a tad pricey) Did you order it from the US or buy from a UK dealer?

Billingham bags are British...check it out on main online retailers, or high street, suggest Jacobs, ought to be one in Leeds :)

Errr, I was referring to the F-stop :)
Billingham's are well known for creating great bags, but not right for what I'm looking for.

Yeah, should have read thread more carefully :D f stop bard looks like interesting bag in a way, only i don't get it what makes it desirable as photo bag as it looks more like plasticky laptop bag, by the way it retails for USD129 that is similar in price to billingham hadleys .
