Any one got this lens or have used it at anytime,as I am thinking of buying one for my Sony a200 & I wondered what Image quality & sharpness was like

Seems to get better reviews that most of the other super-zooms, usual issues aside, and for a walkround lens, very competent.
But like all questions, it's all down to what YOU expect to do with it, and what you're hoping to acheive with it that matters...

Probably be used up to 200mm @ F8 most of the time only there have been a few times when I would have like that little bit extra reach
