The light was either as contrasty as Hell or dull as dishwater so I used fill flash on all these.
The robin is a cracker! and I like the placing of the two lower shots, the dunnock looking down on the robin, which I'm sure you did on purpose! :)
All extremely good, but the shot of the robin is extra special.

Thanks fellers and well spotted Steep! I often arrange a number of these bird shots in a large frame and eye contact from frame to frame helps lead the eye around the pics. Cutting the mattes is a pain though!
I seldom shoot birds on the ground but I couldn't resist this perky little chap. One of this years young I reckon - he's still a bit streamlined yet. :)
all very good:thumbs: my fav would be #1
bout time you bought another tree, lol, excellent shots as standard CT
First shot for me mate, really like the tones. Great set overall though.

Like the Dunnock, nicely exposed and good background

Well done. Well presented..
Just a tad more D of F field for me though ... The frontal part of the body of the top loses the detai the rest of the image promises.
Like them all lot though, not easy to capture without all the trappings of "home life" (lawnmowers, washing lines, clothes pegs etc,) :)
#3 is the pick of the bunch, but then they're all fantastic! Can't beat a bit of eye contact :)
