Hello, first post here-took these today and would welcome any comments or just praise ().

Too many jpeg compression artifacts to be able to comment on them tbh.
From what I can see, they are all a bit too central in the image to be interesting, many wider crops to include more background (1/3rd rule style) or much closer to get more detail and expression from the animals.
Sorry it isnt all praise, but I know nothing so feel free to ignore me.

Hi, thanks for the response. I have uploaded two bigger files of 2 & 3 if you have time to have a look.

They have been reduced to just under 2MB but no other PP.
Thanks again!

I hope you don't mind but I did a little work on #2. I just recropped. I'm not very good at working on colour and the like so I didn't touch that. Unfortunatley the back fetlock is blown and you won't be able to get rid of that. Again I'm sorry if this isn't ok.

Another view, extending tea break to home time ;)
Took this shot and cropped it. Then adjusted colour and gamma, worked on the background to lighten and bring out some detail. Then used the burn tool to take off a bit of the highlight on the front legs. Tried to take out the shadow from the other horse but failed there, this is only me work PC with Elements 4 on it. Damm, forgot to give it some USM, but you get the idea :)

Ohhh goud!! I've just looked at this post on my home pc, that is with my colour corrected (spyder 2 pro) LCD monitor. Yuk, the colours are awful!
Me thinks I'd better try and get me work monitor calibrated
