One of my first proper keepers from the 100-400L - taken in the garden at Sue's mum and dads yesterday morning. I know the highlights are a tad blown on the left but I love the bird on the right - he's almost saying "look at me!, look at what I can do".
C&C welcome as always :).
WOW that is a fantastic shot! I'd die happy to shoot one like that ... Paul :notworthy:
hmm looks like your convincing me about that lens, love the photo, this would win a round at my local photo club i am sure..
Cracker! Well done Matt. The only blown highlight there is on the chest of the hovering bird and it's so slight as to be negligable anyway.
Is it full frame or cropped?

And thank you everyone for your kind comments :) It means a lot to me.
I've got another one I took I think either just before or just after with the same bird approaching from the upper right corner but he's not quite all in the frame so I havent done anything with it yet but it also looks pretty good. Will post it up later this afternoon when I get home.
