A guy is selling one for 60quid, would you guys recommend it? Iam a newbie here, and only have the stock 400d lens at the mo.

Thanks for any advice :)

It's a no-brainer as a lens, but £60 seems high for a s/h unit, particularly so when Kerso is selling them for not much more brand new.

Im sure Kerso had them for £45 new a while ago when prices were cheaper. I would say £60 is too much, but its a great lens for the money.

lense is £73 from jessops.
£65 plus £10 p&p on that ebay site, so I think - £60 if it looks as good as new is a good price.

I recently have been watching 3 on ebay and all second hand units went for £62/65 plus p&p

Im sure it was less than £50, although that was a while ago when the £ was alot stronger. He will do it cheaper outside of ebay.

shallow depth of field shots - its a pretty good lense for the money. Tempted to look at the 1.4 because of it!
