Evening all,

I am hoping you can solve this problem so I know what to buy.

I have a SB600 and V2s. I really feel when mounting the flash on a tripod the Cactus V2s flash reciever makes the flash sit too high and feel unstable.

I was supplied a PC cord in the packaging that fits into the reciever if I were to buy a hotshoe to pc adapter will this enable me to mount the flash more securely and have the reciever just plugged in on this mount.

I think this is what I need

I use a a similar adapter for mine. Not sure exactly what that adapter does, looks like a hot shoe camera and flash adapter together. I think got mine from Speed Graphic years ago.
