Hi,
I know this has been asked before but I can't find a definitive answer searching through the posts. (It's a question from a friend, I wish I could afford this lens.)

Can someone tell me if this combination will result in a loss of autofocus on a 350D?

Thanks

f5.6 is the autofocus limit so the 2x extender will take it over that. Manual focus only.

1.4x instead of 2x will work AF though.

The 2x extender never gets a decent write up, where as people rave about the 1.4x
