Has anyone bought a fisheye lens off eBay before?

Something like those?

They also do 'fisheye converters' like this:

You would get better IQ some a real fisheye but then again they do cost a bit more than an eBay alternative.

You get what you pay for

Sometimes the odd ancient or Russian one turns up on Ebay for pennies, but you'd need pretty low expectations to find them satisfactory...

You could try THIS (http://shop.lomography.com/fisheye/) before you decide to spend hundreds of pounds on a proper fish eye lens.

The Lomo Fish Eye 2 is something i've been looking at buying for a while, not sure if I can justify buying it having just spent a lot on stuff for portraiture.. But it looks a lot of fun! Remember, it's not digital.

I have to say I've NEVER been dissapointed with my Peleng either on 1.6 or 1.3 crop bodies, bang for the bucks it's an awesome lens, not the sort of thing I use every day but I wouldn't be with out mine it's a keeper for sure.
