Fuji S1000FD Question

I'm about to get one of these for the BF as a very late Christmas present (finallly had my refund from a delinquent ebay seller) and have noticed that the max XD-card size it will take is 2GB. I can't find anything about maximum SD card size though. Does anyone know if the same limit applies to SD or is it just on the XD?

I've just had a look in my manual S5800 and the chart goes upto 8gb on the SDHC cards

had a look on the fuji site at its the same for the S1000fd so looks like 8gb limit

I'd go for SD over xD, it seemed much quicker in my s1000fd. And 8gb is correct. Cracking little camera that too :)

2gb was the biggest xD size made.
