Following on from a previous thread, I've decided to sell almost all my stuff so I can go full frame. I've done a little research into prices but would appreciate if anyone could put what they think are reasonable prices - obviously I'd advertise it here first!

I'm realistic about 2nd hand values and am opposed to many Ebay prices where people are selling used stuff but looking for nearly new prices :shake:

Anyway, here's the gear!

THE NIKON STUFF...

Nikon D1X (always professionally serviced, used by a pro with some signs of use. Viewfinder has a crack) + 4 batteries (two are brand new) & original charger.
Nikon AF-S VR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED only a few months old, hardly used. Mint condition with box and original hood)
Nikon AF-S 17-55mm f/2.8G ED DX (Hardly used, getting soft focus fixed but will be mint after then, with original case and original hood)

THE CANON STUFF

Canon EOS 400D with digital grip (about a year old and in mint condition with box and all original accessories)
Sigma 18-50 mm f/2.8 EX DC (few months old, mint condition with box)
Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM (about a month old or so, mint with box)
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II (about a year old, mint condition)
Canon Speedlite 430EX II (few months old with 2 sets of high capacity rechargable batteries, 2500 and above. Mint condition with box)
High speed charger for high capacity batteries with car charger plug also (mint condition)

Give puddleduck (http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/member.php?u=5537) a shout, I think he was looking for a D1X.

I think you'd get a quick sale on a 70-300 VR at £250 these days and the 17-55 is now up to £999 at Jessops :bonk:

I was looking for a D1X recently, and I have to say that £250 is wildly optimistic, especially for one with a cracked VF..

Damn you puddleduck! lol But I do agree. I'm going to get some photos of the gear, decide on prices and stick them up. I think I'll sell them as separate items but will put them up here for a while first.

Lastly, if it's not too much trouble, I don't sell stuff often so have no idea what the RM prices would be for this stuff? Any ideas?

Many thanks
Graham

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the D1X has had it's firmware updated.

Everything should be £8.25 if its under 2kg.

You'll have no problem selling the 70-300 VR.

Many thanks, I'm going to get the stuff I've decided to sell posted in the right place with photos etc. Had a few pm's about some of the gear so have to give them first choice of course. Won't be putting the Nikon 17-55mm up until I've got it sorted and tested.

Thanks for all the advice.
Graham
