Hi everyone,
I have finally got around to processing some of my original images, it has taken me a while to find the time :p .
These images are from my first outing with my 1D (the original 4mp one) & I can in all honesty admit that I had never been able to capture birds in flight before this (definately user error).
They were taken with my 75-300 (once again, the original one  ).

Be gentle as these were my first try & I had noooo idea what this camera was capable of (so many options it was scary!!).

I feel let down and cheated!

I found this thread from the main index page and thought I was in for a treat :naughty:

Skyrats...........Nice capture of the afore mentioned creatures all the same :) No 1 gets my vote

I'm sure if you lived here for any amount of time, you'd change your mind on that one Marcel - there are some seriously scouse women here (& I mean seeeriously scouse - dey do do dont dey do :gag:  )

Cheers for the comments guys.
The images are from a short while ago, think it was just after I'd joined this forum - Sue & George (the Yorkies) called me & said that they had just heard about an RSPB trip on the radio the next day - I'll make sure to let everyone know next time in advance as I definately want to go on the next one too.
The ship went out into the middle of the Mersey & down by Formby beach where I tried hopelessly to follow the birds (no change there  ).

On that day I learned that taking images of birds in flight is incredibly difficult & that chum does not smell nice at all :gag:
