Hi

I've been meaning to post some photos for a while, having recently brought a Canon G9 and started thinking more about photos I take. But, inspired by another thread and the bordem of having 2 broken wrists (MTB crash ), I played around with some old photos that I took with my Canon IXUS 75 and my muns tiny Kodak P&S.

Is there any way of not over exposing the sky in the last one? I'm very new to photography, so my only knowedge is what I've work out myself!

Great set of pictures, I'm loving all the Imps :)

I like the selective colouring, I think it works well on pictures of cars. (I've just noticed in the 1st picture the foliage seen through the car windows is still in colour). Numbers 3 and 4 are great, and I like the symmetry in the 5th picture

Very good attempt at selective colouring.

2 Broken wrists! 5h1t! Some great editing there. I like the one in particular with all of the red cars selected.

Hope your wrists are all good soon!

Who would have thought so many Impers and previous Impers would be on the same photography forum!

Nice pics but I'm not a fan of that look. As for not blowing out the sky, have a search of HDR (high dynamic range) on the forum

Ha, that's my old Imp...

Enjoying the photos, brings back some memories. My rally car (Imp) is sat in the garage awaiting a new engine and Slippy Diff so should be back out on the stages in the next few months (hopefully before the year is out).

EDIT: God it is a thread resurrection - just seen I've already stated it's my old Imp about 12 months ago!

I had a green Imp . . . way back when.
Zippy little buggers and I could get a full kit of drums in one too. The original hatch back! :)
