I was sitting in my living room and spotted this land at the bottom of the garden with what looks like the remains of a sparrow. I ran upstairs and chucked on the sigma 70-300 and took a few shots. They are zoomed and cropped a fair bit. Its at times like these I wished I had washed the windows.

What I did learn was to totally reset the camera before I put it away. When I switched it on it was set for 4 second exposure and I spent valuable seconds setting it up again.

Not the greatest of pics technically but I wanted to share the terror at the bottom of my garden!!

Good sequence of shots Bob, they just need a few tweaks in photoshop to bring out more detail. I hope you don't mind but I've had a quick play with one of the shots myself, just tweaked the levels, applied a bit of brightness/contrast and sharpened it slightly.

That's much better - cheers. Was taken through a dirty double glazed window which has not helped.

nice Bob, have a look in the tutorials section for the Post Processing tutorial, it will help get a little fizz into the images.

RIP dinner, lol
