I currently use a Lowepro Apex 140 for my A200 and kit lens, and its been grand, but I've just got a Minolta 70-210 beercan and much to my dismay the bags too small to take the camera with this lens attached! Anyone any recommendations for a good bigger bag that'll take a camera with a larger zoom attached? Ideally something that's got an all weather covering of some sort, and thats not going to cost too much (under £40ish hopefully)! Thanks.

A Lowe Pro FastPack 200 or 250 will take a Nikon D300 and 70-200 f:2.8 attached at a squeeze, the 350 with a little more breathing space. so they should be fine for your needs You can pick up a 200 from Amazon for £29.99 + P&P which is a steal.
Also, if you pick up this month's copy of What Digital Camera you can read a mini-review I wrote of mine.

Hmm, I dread to think where you'd want the 70-210 to go.......

Plenty of room for your gear and if you come across a dead cow while you're out shooting you'll have room to carry it home
didnt see the under £40 bit . I only paid £65 for mine :D as for size it is not huge and I bet within a few months he will want a bigger bag again as the collection grows, I hope this is my third and final bag :naughty:
