Took these shots of wild orchids in PNG. I don't know what any of them are, but just thought they were gorgeous.

This one was actually take in the dead of night using a white LED ring around the lens (designed for dental photography!). I liked the effect, makes a wierd plant look even wierder!

Don't know why but I get the impression the first one is quite large. Was it?

I like the second one, the green & black go really well together. Looks like it'd make a good basis for a piece of artwork - may be cropped slightly too close to the edge of the main flower though imo.
Great idea for the technique by the way.
