Hi all

I have a whole bunch of equipment passed down to me - about 10 different Miranda lenses and a Sensorex SLR camera. Have had these a while and have taken a few films through them.

But now I have a D40 and would like to perhaps use some of the lenses on it, even if just for fun.

I stuck 'literally held in front of' a 350mm Soligor with a T2 mount my D40 and it did seem to work, although could only focus so far. I also have 2x teleconvertor so possibly giving me a 1000mm lense which could be interesting.

But anyway, I think I have a couple of miranda to T2 adaptors and so I think I need a T2 to Nikon adaptor. Has anyone used these and are these three auction for the same thing or is there a difference I have missed?

Also the Nikon BR2A , looks interesting for a bit of macro action - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nikon-BR-2A-52mm-Reversing-Adaptor-Ring_W0QQitemZ150327276571QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Ph otography_CameraLenses_Lens_caps_hoods_adaptors_ET ?hash=item150327276571&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C 240%3A1318

Will that work with a zoom lense (18-55)? And does anyone have any pictures taken with it that I can see?

cheers all

A BR2 won't be much use on a lens without an aperture ring as you won't be able to stop down.

good point. But, I could use any of the manual lenses I have as long as the filter fitting is 52 mm?

Yeah, you can.

A nice classic 52mm manual focus,ie 50mm,28mm will do the job.
