Hi some one on another forum is selling this lense , he states that its been on an 35mm SLR . My question is will this work on a D200?

They're a cheap but good portrait lens, most people start off with the kit lens, the 50mm is the cheapest quality upgrade there is, £60 ish for a f/1.8 nikkor lens, bargain

Yes, there is no doubting its quality, sharp as a tack, fast and great colour ... however it does not get a lot of use, I always seem to take the 35mm f2 out the bag first.

Handy though if I want to take a couple of lightweight primes with me, must give it more use.

I have noticed how fast they sell on here.
