I've got about a week to get a whole bunch of shots done. I've had one already and its rained all the time. Some people say that painting is harder and better than photography because it takes so long to produce. Sitting there painting for say 6 hours compared to popping out with your camera and taking a photo in 20 seconds. Its taken me over a week to get these shots so far. If I were a painter I'd have 6 prints done by now. I can't quite recall the quote but its something along the lines of photography is harder than painting because you are limited to reality. With paintings you can just pour your imagination onto the canvas. However with photography you have to bend reality to match your imagination. Its bloody hard and quite annoying. Damn this real world!

I know I should try and use what I have but what I have isn't working right now.

I know the feeling... I'm doing portrait stuff for my course which i have to have done by tonight. The major problem I've had is that I need natural daylight but I've been working some long hours this week, so it's been dark when I go to work and dark when I come home. I've come home early today - just need my 'model' to get his backside home now!

Well an hour after starting this thread the universe clearly heard me and gave me some nice blue skies with fluffy clouds \o/ Here's hoping the HDR works.
