So let's not ask ourselves why someone at the boot sale was selling a Manfrotto tripod for £5, eh?

It's amazing what you can pick up there, I picked up a full and registerable copy of Autocad 2000 which hadn't even been opened for £3! Unfortunately I have still to find all of the photography bargains that everyone else seems to stumble upon!

It's all house clearance, the guy it came from has been trading there as a business for 15 years , but it's a market so it must be stolen

Not at a boot sale, but I got a Vivitar 285 flashgun for £12, there's one on steal-bay going for over 30 quid at the minute, I'd say I grabbed a bargain. Either that of the egayers don't know what they're bidding on!

there is a utility which searches ebay for mis-spelled entries. You enter canon and it searches for acnon, cannon, etc etc.... some great opportunities when using this...
can't remember what it's called though!

Be careful with the 285, it's a camera and trigger frier - you need the older V2-type Cactus triggers to work it
