I whitened the clock face and I'm not sure if it stands out too much. The original was kinda orangey and I wanted it to stand out as it was symbolic.

That almost looks like a painting. Lovely colours and without knowing the building the clock face looks fine to me.

Your skies are always spot on. I really like the sense of motion you always capture. I would pay good money for this shot!

perfect pete, I think it's always good to have a spot of white or black in a picture as reference points.

btw, I liked your work in Professional Photographer this month. Nice one.

Oh what? I haven't even got a copy yet! Subscribed or in the shops? It was going to be a big suprise, booo ;)

Not for a calendar but for a Liverpool company I mentioned in the footy shots thread.

Don't know how I missed this one Pete. First Class as usual

Your shots are often very wide. What camera lens combo do you use?

I have a goatse filter ;) Canon 30D + Sigma 10-20. I just love the uber wide angle for the added "whoa" factor.

You leave the goat sex to us Highland boys

Thanks, and yes you are right it has a very dramatic impact which suits the PP treatment very well.

Another stunner Pete :)
I take it all your HDR / wide shots are polarised, or is it done in PP?

petemc
25-10-2006, 22:26
I think this one was polarized. Some are, some aren't but I find that with HDR it can create a polarized like effect.
