REally nice butterfly and I alos recommend tropical world. Inexpensive and loads of fun although my husband hates bugs so it is not as fun with him. I'm not too sure about that background though a bit distracting but then again that is completel subjective.

That's lovely praxis. Whereabouts is it? (Tropical World).

I'm not too keen on bugs around the home, but I'm happy to have a bash at photographing them :)

somewhere I keep saying we will have to go, but so far have never got there, a possibility for a wet day meet????????

I would say the macro although a mid range zoom would also be handy. 100-400 might be a bit much. It is definitely a great visit on a wet day but I would say you can't get more than maybe 2 hours out of it but there is lovely park all around it.

You usually can`t get close enough! cos the buggers fly off just as you`ve focused on them!

butterflies rock. those rooms get very very hot though
