View Full Version : Big wheel
Well, its shadow anyway, thrown across the beach at Blackpool on an October day as the sun gave way to threatening clouds.

Superb...... love it. Just a minor niggle - a bit more space around the top of the Tower would give this the openess this needs....

Yep Chuckles and Minimeeze, you're right. What little space I had, and there wasn't enough :-( was lost when I rotated and cropped to get things vertical!
Regards, Tony
When rotating it might be worth a try cloning some of the original back in to the gaps (this is what I do if I can pull it off...).
Superb shot Tony. The one thing that stands out for me, is that it's a totally different shot to what I've seen before of a very well photographed place, which is a feat in itself :)

I agree with Marcel, a different shot of Blackpool is a great achievement.
Thanks for the comments and suggestions folks. Expanding the canvas and cloning in some more sky is a good idea that I haven't tried before.
Regards, Tony
Its a good pic - to solve the problem others have spoken about, could've taken it in portrait orientation.

Yep. Then take a few left to right and stitch em.
Great pic BTW.
I really like this shot, B&W images always seem to have a timeless quality to me.
Excellent work
