And I'll also say Picassa.
You can download a 30 day trial of Photoshop, assuming your lappy can handle it. Seems to run OK on my Inspiron 6400.

I'll 4th Picassa this is all I had for quite a while it does a decent job.
Or paint shop pro, 30 day trial
paint.net
that is the name not the address
http://www.getpaint.net/index2.html
does most things that photoshop will do, it is completely free.
the main thing i am wishing it did, and doesent seem to, is layer masks you can do layers and all the usual stuff with them, but i cant seem to see a masks options.
the only floor with paint.net is that you have to haev service pack2 installed
Paint.Net is good and so is GimpShop, it's more like PS than just straight Gimp.
picassa runs on any computer no matter spec or OS i think
oh faststone is another good one
EDIT: forgot the link soz http://www.faststone.org/FSViewerDetail.htm
Hi All,
New to the forum, and first post! I came across this fantastic Online Photo Editor, doesn't have all the bells and whistles of an installed application but its definately worth a look!
